About the Meadows

Our Mission

Every rabbit deserves to feel safe, loved and understood.

Since 2021, we've provided rescue, rehabilitation and sanctuary care for rabbits in need. Some stay with us while they wait for their forever families, while others call the Meadows home for life.

However long they're with us, every rabbit is treated as an individual and given the care they deserve.

The Elvis Effect

Midgley Meadows was founded in 2021 in memory of my very first rabbit, Elvis. He completely changed the way I saw rabbits — intelligent, affectionate, complex little animals who are so often misunderstood.

Losing him left a huge rabbit-shaped hole in our family, but it also gave me a purpose. I wanted other vulnerable, neglected and unwanted rabbits to experience the same love and care that Elvis had throughout his life.

His legacy lives on in every rabbit who arrives at the Meadows looking for safety and a second chance.
